My background was in Army Aviation so I had the wonderful opportunity in flying in many of our aviation fleets when I served up in Oakey long before I ever went to Forces Command.
But on Bougainville it's a different experience where you're having to fly everywhere to get to the different team sites. And I still found the thrill. Every time I got on board, and the doors are off, I still found the thrill.
