A Bristol Blenheim Mk I bomber on an airfield in Malaya. This ‘short-nose’ version of the Blenheim had been declared obsolete in all other theatres of the war, but they continued to be flown in Malaya alongside some of the newer ‘long-nose’ Mk IV version.
