Cape Helles in the south, Krithia in the centre of the peninsula and the hill Achi Baba above it are marked. On 6 August 1915, the British landed at Suvla Bay immediately above the Anzac-held area. The ground held by the British there from August to December 1915 is marked in green, with the Salt Lake in the centre. Hill 60 is shown between them, with the Sari Bair range marked in a large semi-circle from northern Suvla Bay down to Kabatepe in the south, below the Anzac-held territory. Along that semi-circle are marked the summits of Hill 971, Chunuk Bair and Mal Tepe. Küçükanafarta and Büyükanafarta villages are marked in the central north of the peninsula.
