Troops occupy the crowded spaces on the deck of HMAS Vendetta during a voyage to the besieged town of Tobruk. Vendetta made this hazardous trip thirty-nine times between May and August 1941, more than any other vessel that made up what was known as the 'Tobruk Ferry'.
