Five soldiers stand behind a grave stone

Five Victoria Cross recipients visit the grave of Jack Edmondson VC, the first Australian to be awarded the Victoria Cross in World War II. The men in this photograph—Frank Partridge, Ted Kenna, JD Hinton (a New Zealander), Richard Kelliher and Reg Rattey—were part of the Australian and New Zealand coronation contingent bound for England in April 1953.
