Wing Commander John Keith Douglas DFC, born in Tamworth, New South Wales, on 17 June 1921; enlisted in the RAAF in Sydney on 3 February 1941; Commanding Officer No. 467 Squadron RAAF; killed in an attack on the Dortmund-Ems Canal (Ladbergen) on 7–8 February 1945, aged 24; buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany.
