The images of a model naval gun progressively show techniques of camouflage, with the first picture showing no camouflage and the fourth image showing full camouflage applied to the gun.

Technical photographs taken by Lieutenant Frank Hinder while working as an artist with the Camouflage Research Unit, Dept of Home Security. Scale model of a 6 inch naval gun. Cardboard has been added at the top of the gun and barrel, to give the effect of the curve of mountain ranges in the background. The gun has been painted in camouflage colours. AWM P06133.038-41
