I had a relationship failure coming back from Rwanda and another one in East Timor after that as well. So it was an adjustment coming back from Rwanda to normalization of life. I remember, ironically my young nephew, we were at McDonald's eating something and he threw away half a burger, and I got really upset about and angry with him because he threw the food away.
So that was, you know, sort of a bit of an awakening thing for me to realize what I was saying and doing. I had a vast degree of loss of humanity in regards to what it's about and obviously learned a lot of lessons from my deployment in Rwanda.
