Bryan joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1942. He was 18. On HMAS Manoora, he took part in the Operation Oboe landings.

Claire's husband, Roy, served with her father on the Western Front. Claire recalled their experiences and Anzac Days.

Allan served 38 years in the RAAF. He was an engine fitter with No 35 Squadron in Vietnam. He talked about flying and a crash.

Albert served during both World Wars. With the 26th Battalion, he fought at Gallipoli and on the Western Front.

Lieutenant Commander McKenzie served as a telegraphist in the Royal Australian Navy in World War I, including the Battle of Jutland.
