Remembrance Day commemorative package

We commemorate Remembrance Day on 11 November. The date is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice of 1918 that ended fighting in World War I. On this day, we commemorate all those who have died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peace operations.

To help Australians commemorate Remembrance Day, we posted packs of materials to schools, ex-service organisations and other associations across Australia. Digital versions of these packs are available free to everyone.

Commemorative posters

Display our new posters this Remembrance Day.

The Remembrance Day poster commemorates all those who have died or suffered during wars, conflicts and peace operations, and features Bomana War Cemetery in Papua New Guinea. Our second poster acknowledges people who served in the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps over the past 75 years.
