2020 Anzac Day Schools' Awards Winners

The Department of Veterans' Affairs would like to congratulate all those involved in this year’s Anzac Day Schools’ Awards (ADSA).

ADSA encourages schools to connect with veterans and current members of the Australian Defence Force to provide students with a personal and meaningful understanding of Australia’s wartime history.

We would like to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and creativity shown by all the schools who entered.

The National Winner, Golden Grove Primary School in South Australia, presented a broad range of student-led learning activities. The students interviewed veterans, researched World War II and, importantly, reflected on their learning.

Congratulations to all involved. Thank you for your interest in stories of service and your work in educating the next generation about our military history.
