On 11 November, we commemorate Remembrance Day. This is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice of 1918 that ended fighting in World War I. On this day, we commemorate all who have died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peace operations.
We've posted a pack of printed resources to schools, ex-service organisations and other associations across Australia. These digital versions are available free to everyone.
Commemorative posters
We've created 2 new posters this Remembrance Day.
Our Remembrance Day poster commemorates all who have died or suffered during wars, conflicts and peace operations.
Our second poster acknowledges Australia's involvement in the Leyte Gulf and Lingayen Gulf battles during World War II.
Please display the posters this Remembrance Day.

These short online lessons allow students to discover the stories of Australian veterans who served during war, conflicts and peace operations through oral history interviews.
Origins of war: First World War workbook
This is the third workbook in our series designed to introduce primary students to World War I. The book supports students as they learn and engage with key aspects of the war and how it started.

A collection of short stories capturing the resilience, ingenuity and strength of Australians at war.
We sent a printed copy to every Australian school on our list. You can ask for a free copy if you didn't receive one. It's also available online.
