Bob joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1942. He flew 32 missions with RAF Bomber Command in World War II.

Ed joined the Army in 1942. He served with 29th Infantry Battalion in the Middle East and Papua's Milne Bay in World War II.

Chris served with the 3rd Squadron, Special Air Service Regiment in Vietnam. He retired as a Brigadier after a long army career.

Keith joined the Army in 1951, aged 18. He served in the Indonesian Confrontation, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
