Teaching resources on wartime artists and artwork

Wartime artists and artwork help document Australia's military history. Throughout Australia's involvement in conflicts, wars, and peace operations, artists have captured moments in time. They evoke significant events, groups and individuals in service. Many artists experienced life on the battlefronts. They reflected what they saw. Our teaching resources provide a diverse collection of artwork that explore the contribution of artists to our understanding of Australian service.
